Foundation Board Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the District Foundation took place on Friday. Because no election of board members took place in 2020 and due to the resignation of a member of the class of 2022, there were 7 seats to be contested.

Elected to terms ending in 2023 were current members Sal Anelli, Kim Scharoff and Bill Davis.

Five candidates ran for the three seats ending in 2024. The winners were Tom Poccio, Joe Aiello and newcomer Dennis Gabel. Elected to fill a vacancy for one year was newcomer Lucien Giancursio.

The Foundation members also adopted new bylaws for the foundation.

Vice President Thomas Poccio reported on events at the kamp. He said the process of hiring a new kamp director is proceeding, with two candidates remaining from the 15 initial applicants. They will be interviewed at the kamp before a decision is made.
