Welcome to the 2016-17 Kiwanis service year.
I am both pleased and honored to be assuming the role of your District Secretary under the leadership of Gov. Stephen Sirgiovanni. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Immediate Past Governor Forbes Irvine, Immediate Past District Secretary David Rothman and the entire Kiwarnergy team for a job well done.
As we close out this year of service let's remember there are still tasks to complete. Each club should ensure that all reporting has been completed, especially your club election report. This report is vital to ensure communication between International and District to your club. This report can be filed through kiwanisone.org portal. Any questions in regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We are in the process of revising the club recognition program, for the club awards presented at the Mid-Year Conference for the year 2015-16. Due to changes in the monthly reporting process we will no longer base the awards directly on the reports. Instead, we will be asking clubs to apply for these awards through an online process. More information and the forms will follow shortly.
Again, I look forward to working with you all of you in the upcoming year. The district office is here to help you succeed in your service to our communities.
