Key Club

While we Kiwanians are just starting the second quarter of our year, the New York Key Club District Board and Officers are starting the last quarter of their year.
They have been working hard on membership, fundraising and volunteering for various causes.
We need your help with your Key Club! Please contact your Key Club and make sure that they have submitted their roster and paid their dues. We have many clubs that have not paid their dues as of Jan 1. We are in the process of starting six new Key Clubs around the district and I want to thank those Kiwanis Clubs that have stepped up to be sponsors.
The board is again in the final planning stages of the annual Leadership Training Conference, that will be held at the Desmond Hotel in Albany. The dates are March 29-31. Your clubs will again need help with funding their attendance at this great event. We again expect more than 700 in attendance.
This year's International Convention will be in Baltimore and the cost will be around $1,000. I will have a better idea of the cost at the Kiwanis District Mid-Winter Conference after I have confirmed some of the tour events. Your Key Club lieutenant governors will be looking for financial support for this great event also.
In closing, I want to thank you for all you do with and for your Key Clubs and it is my privilege to serve as your Key Club district administrator.
