It has been an exciting time for me being governor elect. I have traveled to events throughout the state including the 40th Italian Feast for Rochester West Central, Finger Lakes Division meeting, Staten Island Verrazano Club which honored veterans by laying wreaths at their resting places, Merrick Club Gift Wrapping fundraiser, and other holiday Christmas gatherings. It further shows me the love and dedication that fellow Kiwanians have by volunteering and supporting so many events.
With the new year approaching, I look forward to further planning my year to include visits to events throughout New York State. I look forward to developing my team in the coming months. We have our Mid-Winter Conference coming up in February at The Desmond Hotel (Feb. 14-17). If you haven't attended a convention or conference before, I would like to encourage you to put this upcoming date on your calendar. At these events it is a great time see old friends and also make new friends throughout the New York District. Kiwanians get a better feel and different view for what we do. You will leave invigorated with a new sense of passion.
