Congratulations to the many club members who have sent in their Distinguished Kiwanian criteria forms.
Just a reminder – you do not have to wait until the end of the Kiwanis year to receive your official AK certificate and pin. Please send to me as soon as your two new members have been registered with Kiwanis International and have been assigned an official HI membership number.
I've received many applications directly from club members. If there has been no return address written on the form or envelope, the certificate and pin has been mailed to the club secretary.
Some clubs have chosen to present the award at a special club event or at a division Meeting. This is a wonderful incentive to motivate other clubs to participate in this special Governor's Project.
For those members who have already sponsored one new member, why not reach out to your community and friends to reach the goal of sponsoring a second member. Your efforts are paying off – the New York District is growing.
Remember, Governor Hank asks that you wear your pin proudly.
