Circle K

The Circle K International Convention (CKIx 19) was a phenomenal and marvelous event held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando, Florida.
We attended various workshops led by Circle K’ers themselves and learned an abundance of personal and leadership skills, connected with members across the globe, including Panama, elected the new international board, voted on amendments during the House of Delegates, and so much more! We were also fortunate enough to attend the Kiwanis International Convention Opening Session. It was truly amazing to experience not just one convention, but two!
It would be an understatement to say that CKIx 19 was magical, especially being located in Walt Disney World. Not only meeting members across other districts was enough, but definitely watching our home district win awards during the award ceremony. They deserve to be recognized for their hard work and effort throughout this past service year. Here they are:

Julia Dressler: OPAL Award, Canisius College
Greg Faulkner: Distinguished Kiwanis Advisor, Lehman College
We are truly honored to have gotten the chance to attend this magnificent event together. We are extremely thankful for the Kiwanis Clubs that supported us and allowed us to experience all that Circle K has to offer. We are certainly looking forward to next year’s CKIx 20 in Las Vegas.
