Next, the 2019–20 Aktion Club year is here — so it's time to update your membership information and pay members' dues. Complete the easy process (accessible through www.aktionclub.org) right away. Earn an Early Bird Patch if you complete it by Nov. 1! While you're there, your club may be eligible for a distinguished or honor club recognition. This report form has been updated so that you can complete and submit it online. It takes just a few minutes. The deadline for these recognitions is Oct. 15.

The Buffalo and Rochester Areas are holding twin conferences on October 26. The Buffalo Area Aktion Club Conference will be at the Museum of Disability History. A third Aktion Club Conference is being planned downstate for Spring of 2020. More information to follow!
We completed our "Just One Dollar" for Military Kampers project, and presented a check for $1,108 on behalf of the 18 participating NY District Aktion Clubs to Kamp Kiwanis at the Kiwanis District Convention. Thank you to all who participated! Patches will be mailed to clubs in February.
We are rolling out two new district projects this fall: First, "Aktion Club Kare Packs". We will be asking New York Aktion Clubs to purchase and package disaster relief supplies into Kare Packs. Specific project details will become available this fall on the District Aktion Club web page. Second, we are working on a District Aktion Club video, in which individual members and advisors can participate in a few simple interview questions which will be edited into a video that will be able to be used for club development in our district. This project will be rolled out at the Rochester Area Conference at the end of the month, and will be offered to individual clubs later this winter.
