As we emerge from the Covid Crisis, the NY Kiwanis Membership Team is ready to enter new and existing Kiwanis Communities and work to OPEN and STRENGTHEN our Kiwanis Clubs!
We remind everyone that both Kiwanis International and the New York District have waived new member add fees until the end of September. Additionally, the NY District has started a contest for the individual who sponsors the most new members, and the clubs that grow the most in this period.
The individual sponsors win $300, $200 or $100, and the club with the most new member will win two registrations at the 2021 Mid Year Conference. Clubs will also be recognized for growth at that conference at the Desmond Hotel in February 2021.
Communities have been identified across our district for new club openings. Target clubs, those with a membership of under 15, have also been identified for assistance. We have a state-wide team of volunteers trained and ready to assist with social and other membership growth events.
We need your commitment to HELP GROW Kiwanis in this new end-of-Covid Era. I look forward to working with each of you.
