 Five members of the Circle K Club at Lehman College attended the Annual Fordham Kiwanis Bread and Soup Lunch meeting, helping on that day to raise $400 for "Part of the Solution" (POTS), a "one-stop shop" in the Bronx that provides a comprehensive package of support and services for low income families trying to achieve stability and ultimately self-sufficiency. They were joined by members of their sponsoring Kiwanis Clubs of Fordham and Yonkers, led by club presidents Sister Anne Marie Kirmse and Judy Bartunek, respectively. |
 POTS Executive Director Alicia Guevara was the featured speaker at the meeting and thanked Fordham Kiwanians and their sponsored service leadership clubs for together raising over $15,000 this past year to purchase new refrigeration units designed to provide fresher, more nutritious food for as many as 3,000 children. |
