2016 Mid-Year Conference
The 2016 Mid-Year Conference took place Feb. 19-21 at the Villa Roma in Callicoon.
The divisions, clubs and members who were named distinguished for the 2014-15 Kiwanis Year were announced at the Mid-Year Conference. See the honors list for the details.
Distinguished Past Gov. Peter Mancuso talking about his campaign for election to the Kiwanis International Board of Trustees. The election will take place at the Kiwanis International Convention in June in Toronto.

Julia Bruzzese, pictured with her parents, is a determined and inspirational 12 year old. About 2 years ago, she started not feeling well and none of her physicians thought to test her for Lyme Disease. An avid dancer, she lost her ability and is now has to use a wheelchair. She met Pope Francis on his trip to New York. Her father, Enrico lost his job caring for his daughter. Her treatments required her to move from her home in Brooklyn to Albany. She only regained her ability to speak two days before the Mid-Year Conference.

Julia Bruzzese with her parents. She was presented with a $25,000 check to help cover her treatments from the Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Foundation. She was presented with a Brittany by the Past Lt. Gov. Council and an emerald Brittany by Steve Dee Argentine.
Many present received the Brittany Award supporting the Kiwanis Pediatric Lyme Disease Foundation.
