Immediate Past Gov. Stephen Sirgiovanni made several special awards to individual for their work during the 2016-17 year:

• Alison Mandel, Elmira Kiwanis Club, for her work at district conferences and events.
• District Secretary Rich Hall for his work supporting the district.
• Metropolitan Lt. Gov. Keith Cummings for his work on anti-bullying efforts.
• District Foundation President Sal Anelli for his work on behalf of the foundation.
• Executive Assistant Brenda Leigh Johnson for her assistance to him during the 2016-17 year.
• Genesee Lt. Gov. Lucien Giancursio for his assistance with the 2017 Key Leader program.
