Kiwanis helps kids around the world. Kiwanis clubs look out for their community and the Kiwanis International organization takes on large-scale challenges, such as fighting disease and poverty. Kiwanians are generous with their time, creative with their ideas, and passionate about making a difference. And we have fun along the way!
For more than a century, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe and healthy regardless of the community in which they live. When you give a child the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, succeed and thrive, great things can happen.
Looking for a great way to serve your community while enjoying the fellowship of others? Kiwanis is the place for you.
To be a Kiwanian, you must only be at least 18 years of age and excited about becoming a member of an organization which identifies and works to resolve community issues. And you can be a part of that.
The New York District of Kiwanis encompasses the Kiwanis clubs in New York State. There currently are 241, in large cities and small towns, all with the same local focus.
Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide, so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them and provide the support they need to thrive.
Looking for a Kiwanis club in your area?
We are looking to open new clubs in areas where an existing club is not in place. There are several different club types to consider. These range from classic town-based clubs, those that meet over the internet to others that are designed for busy young professionals.
