On July 19 the Port Chester-Rye Brook Kiwanis club had its annual awards dinner.
Robert Kilpatrick received the Legion of Honor Award for 25 years of service to his Kiwanis Club.
The Friends of Kiwanis Awards were given to both Vinny and Anthony DeLio. They are the recently retired owners of Vinny’s Luncheonette on Main St. in Port Chester and have long served their community with lunch and contributions. They would often lend supplies and food to the Kiwanis Club for its events.
Legion of Merit Awards were given to Dominic Bencivenga and Nicholas Farenga for 5 years of service, Kathy Casino, and Phyllis Maguire each for 15 years, and Nicholas Mecca for 20 years.
The Kiwanian of the Year Award was bestowed upon Toni Ganim for her never ending commitment to the club. Toni, a former vice president of the club, has dedicated her time and efforts to the club, helping organize major annual events along with helping bring in new members.
