The North Shore Key Club is working for this new key club serve year with the North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce as its Major Emphasis Program (MEP) 2024-25.
The mission of this organization is to help all businesses grow in the Hispanic community by providing education and resources that allow them to thrive. This organization has successfully helped children and families through generous donations, toys for kids, turkeys to families and more.
Because of this wonderful community work by the Chamber, The North Shore Key Club chose this group for their MEP. Before the school year began in August, the Key Club, under the direction of the North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, gave out back packs to needy children at North Shore High School.
The next activity for the Key Club was collecting school supplies for children in need. The Key Club chairs were Juniors Quincy Bartlett, Chone Ianelli, and Andy Ye. This event also took place at North Shore High School and was extremely successful.
Pictured are photos of the entire key club organizing the items collected, the chairs for the event and the President of the North Shore Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Connie Padilla accepting the items at the school.
The next event will be a food drive scheduled on Oct. 27 at Holiday Farms.
