Over a four Saturday period the Minisink Valley Kiwanis partnerd with the Orange County Chapter of the Nam Knights to demolish a failing front stair and porch and built a new stair and deck for a disabled Vietnam Veteran.
The deck was designed to have a ramp attached at a later date when the Veteran can no longer manage the steps. The Nam Knights demolished the existing stair and masonry porch and purchased the materials for the deck. Minisink Valley Kiwanis members Hank Potter, Chris Reggio and David Morse, designed and framed the deck, stairs and railing.
