Central Adirondack Kiwanis sponsored a kite building, decorating, and flying event during Inlet's Frozen Fire & Lights Winter Carnival on Feb. 22.
The kite flying event was jointly sponsored by Central Adirondacks Kiwanis; Penny Van Slyke, a Kiwanis member; The Woods Inn; and American Kitefliers Association (AKA). The pre-flight workshop included 100+ kite construction kits, decorations, safety instructions, and demonstrations of numerous flying methodologies.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated
