Celebrating Kiwanis Family Month, members of Fordham Kiwanis and their newly formed Builders Club members at the Thomas C. Giordano Middle School 45 in the Bronx shared a lunch meeting to discuss service projects over the coming year.
The "family" discussed the need to rebuild after Hurricane Sandy and started to collect baby food (shown in photo) to distribute to families most in need this holiday season.
Seated in front of Fordham Kiwanians are eighth graders and charter Builders Club members Juan Rosario and Aissa Gringue. Far right standing is their Faculty Advisor Mike Morgan, who will be joining Fordham Kiwanis. The Builders Club will elect its officers and invite the Kiwanis family to the school in December for a holiday party.
